Q: Who are the intended attendees for this training conference?
A: This conference is intended to be a training conference for clinicians who are in currently training or working in mental health settings which provide services and treatment to clients who identify as Asian American. The presenters typically provide materials with the assumption that the attendees already have a foundation in clinical counseling and treatment.
Q: I am a MSW/MFT Intern and I am currently accruing hours for my LCSW/LMFT. Can I register as a trainee/student?
A: Trainee/Student rate applies only to people who work as a student intern or who are in school (school .edu email address is required for verification purpose). If you have a master’s degree and are currently employed, the regular rate will be applied.
Q: Can I pay my registration fee online?
A: Yes, we accept online payment through Eventbrite.
Q: If I am a psychtech or a recreational therapist, am I qualified for continuing education credits?
A: We can issue CEU certificate if you request, psychtech is allowed to use the BRN (Nursing Board) for credit and we are accredited by BRN to offer CEU. However, we encourage you to check with your licensing board to make sure you will get CEU credits.
Q: I cannot stay the whole day. Can I get partial credits if I leave the training early?
A: Yes, you are allowed to get partial credits. You have to stay in the conference all day to get six CEU credits. Physicians and psychiatrists are allowed to get partial credits, too.
Q: I registered early with the discounted rate, but I can’t go. Can get refund?
A: Refund is available if you cancel your registration up to 7 days before the conference date.
